EN_Electric Blue — ABSTRACT I emerges from a seemingly fleeting, everyday fragment of observation. By zooming in on a minuscule detail that goes unnoticed in passing, the work disconnects the image from its original, everyday context.
The video image transforms into a tactile, moving painting. The movements within the frame are extremely slow and subtle; the composition shifts continuously, yet maintains its aesthetic balance at every stage. It is a visual exploration of time, reflection, and the beauty contained within the smallest particles of our reality.
As a counter-reaction to an overstimulated, ever-accelerating society, this work builds upon an ongoing exploration of abstraction and transformation. It invites the viewer to pause, slow down, and adopt a fresh way of seeing: beauty need not be sought far away, but reveals itself as soon as we focus our gaze on the unnoticed.
NL_Electric Blue — ABSTRACT I ontstaat vanuit een schijnbaar vluchtig, alledaags observatiefragment.
